I didn’t always have what you see today…
Just a few years ago I was driving 90 minutes to work – one way – every single day. I graduated college and landed what I thought to be my dream job at just 20 years old. I went the exact path I was conditioned to take. I bought my first house at 22 and by 27 I was making “the big 6 figures”. But what I didn’t know is that path would also lead to me being exhausted, limited on quality time with my family, and feeling completely unaligned with my purpose.
I had to make a bold decision to change my life. During that time period I started, what began as just a side hustle, my tax firm that eventually turned into a multi six figure business. That single decision to do something “more” led me to where I am today – speaking on stages and educating thousands.
2016
Went Viral
Believe it or not, I didn’t join social media as a business until 2016. Yes for real. I had a super secret profile that I’d login to every quarter or so. I built my business in what I call – the old school way. Feet to the pavement network marketing in real life. I decided to leverage social media to drum up new business and went viral with my very first Tax Video. I had no idea that my decision to show up and educate would be the birth of my personal brand and new blooming streams of income.
2017
Speaker
I’m called to speak on some of the biggest states in the finance industry as an expert. Being viral is a regular event. I also launch my first round of digital products.
2018
Dallas NBC Feature
Dallas NBC features me as a Tax Expert to cover the Tax Plan. Holy Guacamole a personal brand + the internet is a powerful tool.
2019
Sold My Tax Firm
I make a huge and scary pivot. I sell my Tax Firm after 14 successful years. I didn’t see this coming, but my successes pushed me to a higher dimension. I learn that God will turn what was once soil to dirt so you can move to more abundant lands.
Currently…
I spend my time inspiring and equipping the amazing people who I’m honored to serve with the confidence and tools they need to operate in their Superpowers. I Speak and Teach full time. When I obtained my degree in Computer Informations Systems, there’s no way I could have ever imagined that my desire to have more income, more impact, and more quality time to enjoy it all would have landed me here. I’ve learned that the bumps in my journey just made me a better mentor because I lead from a place of deep compassion.
I’ve been affectionately called the Entrepreneur Whisperer – because I tend to be the little voice whose sole purpose is to remind you that you are qualified, you are called, and you are enough.
